First Readings
So this blog will consist of the first readings from my English class. The readings I read were "Aesop's Fables" and "Aesop, Aristotle, and Animals: The Role of Fables in Human Life" by Edward Clayton. These two pieces of literature were very interesting in how Aesop's Fables are a bunch of short fables written by Aesop and portrayed various animals showing different kinds of warnings and morals that many people know of. In some of these fables, I didn't get what the moral of the some stories were so that left me a bit baffled. In "Aesop, Aristotle, and Animals: The Role of Fables in Human Life", it was very interesting to read Edward Clayton's perspectives on the fables and how it played a major role in human life and society. Though, in some parts of the reading I was a bit confused on what he was trying to say, but over all I liked his perspective on things.
